Outdoor furniture, an age-old trend.

Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, and is known even today for this great invention. Have you ever wondered who invented chairs? Why isn’t he or she famous? Don’t we use chairs in every sphere of life? Why then doesn’t someone bother to ask this question? Or have we taken this piece furniture for granted? Has the person who put his thoughts together to make life comfortable, faded into oblivion? I wonder how the early man lived without chairs. Man must have made use of any available thing to sit on- a boulder, a tree-trunk, a broken piece of construction, a crate, a carton, a wooden box. All these were mostly used as outdoor furniture. They say that chairs, that too- folding chairs were used since the Bronze Age. Sitting is a posture that is the intermediate between lying down and standing. Lying down is for retiring and standing up is for action; but sitting position is sublime. One can introspect, retrospect, plan, organize, instruct, advise or just relax. Talking about relaxing, outdoor furniture suits the task the most. A wide range of well-designed outdoor furniture is available in the market today. This furniture makes one’s open-air experience worth remembering.
